The Master parcours Mathématiques Fondamentales Recherche aims to provide an introduction
to a range of topics in pure and applied mathematics in view of pursuing a doctorate degree in Mathematics.
The first year (Master 1) is entirely in common with the Master parcours Mathématiques Fondamentales Agrégration,
and aims to build a solid foundation in different areas of mathematics.
In the second year (Master 2), several advanced courses on research topics of the Laboratoire de
Mathématiques de Reims are proposed in the first semester, which paves way to study
questions on current research in the project of the second semester.
For the academic year 2023-2024, the following advanced couses will be proposed in Master 2.
- History of Mathematics for Mathematicians: Methods and results of textual analysis.
- Satyanad Kichenassamy
- Introduction to evolution equations - François Vigneron
- Nonlinear Schrödinger equations and dispersive models - Laurent Di Menza
- Mathematical modeling - Laurent Di Menza
- Research projects - Anglais

- For Master 1, applicants must hold a diploma equivalent to a Licence Mathématiques in France.
- For Master 2, applicants must hold a diploma equivalent to a Master 1 Mathématiques in France.
